Hand-stitched textile sculpture

Raffia, yarn, recycled knitwear, painted canvas

Dimensions: 26*48h cm

One of a kind

An original hand-made sculpture from the Substrate series — a work about the layers we grow around ourselves over time.

Built entirely by hand over 50+ hours, the piece is constructed from crocheted raffia rings, wrapped in indigo yarn and filled with recycled textile, each element individually hand-stitched. A final layer of paint unifies the tones. The result is a dense, tactile form that grows upward organically, referencing both natural structures like lichen and bark, and the quiet accumulation of human experience.

The sculpture is a standalone object, suitable for display on a plinth, shelf, or pedestal. It holds its shape independently.

Materials: raffia, cotton yarn, recycled knitwear, acrylic paint, canvas base

Care: keep away from direct sunlight and humidity

Shipping: carefully packaged; available worldwide

This is the first work in an ongoing series. Each piece is unique and will not be reproduced.
